Position Overview
The SLP Coordinator will oversee and enhance our speech-language pathology services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a leadership capacity and is eager to develop and implement effective treatment and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all speech-language pathology services and staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress.
- Train and mentor staff, providing guidance on best practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness of speech-language pathology services.
- Conduct staff meetings and training sessions to support a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: 3+ years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
