About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machinery to fabricate parts according to technical drawings.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and solve technical issues.
• Use measuring instruments and tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in machining technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or machining certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machinist position or related field.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred.
• Ability to operate manual and CNC machinery with precision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
