Position Overview

As our Farm Manager, you will oversee all aspects of farm operations, from planting and harvesting to budgeting and team management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all farming activities, including cropping schedules, planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
• Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety practices and efficient operation.
• Develop and manage budgets for various farm operations to maintain financial health.
• Implement sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, organic pest control, and soil management.
• Monitor and assess crop health, making timely decisions to address growth issues or pest infestations.
• Maintain records of activities, production metrics, and pesticide and fertilizer usage in compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with agricultural specialists and government agencies to ensure environmental compliance and support.
• Collaborate with local markets and distributors to maximize sales and manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in farm management or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successful crop management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and technologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
