Job Overview

The estate surveyor will play a crucial role in managing surveys and assessments of properties, ensuring compliance with legislation, and advising clients on property valuations and potential investments. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property surveys to assess their condition and value.
• Prepare reports on property valuations, costs, and market trends.
• Provide clients with expert advice on property investments, sales, and acquisitions.
• Ensure all valuations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, including legal and finance, to support clients’ needs.
• Participate in negotiations for property sales and acquisitions.
• Develop relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor property market trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property surveying or a related role.
• MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
