About the Role
The CNC Turning Job Work Specialist will be responsible for operating and programming CNC lathes, interpreting technical drawings, and producing precision parts that meet our stringent quality standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts and components.
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Setting up machines with appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Programming CNC machines using G-code and M-code.
- Monitoring machine operations and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Conducting quality control checks using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry regulations.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC lathes.
- Proficient in G-code and M-code programming.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and measuring tools.

Work Schedule
