We are excited to announce that several positions are currently available at the Center for Community Alternatives. Below are the details for our open roles:

1. Community Outreach Coordinator

Location: Syracuse, NY

Overview: The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with community organizations and developing outreach strategies that promote CCA’s programs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in public speaking, event planning, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach programs that effectively engage target audiences.
  • Coordinate events and workshops to promote community awareness of CCA’s services.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze outreach data to assess program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or program coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Restorative Justice Facilitator

Location: Rochester, NY

Overview: The Restorative Justice Facilitator will lead restorative justice circles and workshops, fostering dialogue and healing among participants. This role requires a deep understanding of restorative practices and a commitment to social justice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate restorative circles and support participants in developing accountability and healing plans.
  • Conduct assessments and follow-up sessions with participants and families.
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote restorative practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Conflict Resolution, or related field.
  • Experience in restorative justice practices and working with diverse populations.
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

3. Program Evaluation Specialist

Location: Buffalo, NY

Overview: The Program Evaluation Specialist will develop and execute evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of CCA’s programs. This role is crucial for continuous improvement and ensuring our programs meet community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement evaluation methods for program assessment.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate program outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, or related field.
  • Experience in program evaluation and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
