Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators and other heavy machinery on various job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan work effectively.
• Excavate trenches, footings, and other earthworks according to project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and laborers, to complete jobs efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Record daily activities and report any issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid excavator operator license or certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in heavy machinery operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads as required.
