Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Bike Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a bike mechanic at Cycle Haven, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing repairs and routine maintenance on various types of bicycles, including mountain bikes, road bikes, and electric bicycles.
• Conducting thorough inspections to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions.
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all repairs and servicing.
• Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers about bike maintenance and repair needs.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a bike mechanic or similar role (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of bike components and parts, including drivetrain systems, brakes, and wheels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
