The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from source language to target language, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Review and edit translations for clarity, style, and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other translators to meet project deadlines.
• Research specialized terminology to ensure accurate and effective communication.
• Provide linguistic support for projects as necessary, including proofreading and formatting.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• Proficient in at least two languages (native proficiency in one and advanced proficiency in the other).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional translation experience.
• Strong understanding of translation software, such as SDL Trados Studio or memoQ.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
