Job Description

As a Casual Swim Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in our swimming program. You will be responsible for teaching participants of various ages, from toddlers to adults, and ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct swim lessons for a diverse range of skill levels, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual or group needs, focusing on skill progression and safety awareness.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their confidence and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods to meet varying learning styles.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Current Swim Instructor Certification (e.g., ASCTA, AUSTSWIM, or equivalent).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Previous experience teaching swimming to children and adults is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for swimming and teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
