Position Overview

The SLP Coordinator will oversee and enhance our speech-language pathology services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a leadership capacity and is eager to develop and implement effective treatment and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all speech-language pathology services and staff.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress.
Train and mentor staff, providing guidance on best practices and therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness of speech-language pathology services.
Conduct staff meetings and training sessions to support a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Preferred: 3+ years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic interventions.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
