Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files into accurate written documents in English or other specified languages.
• Translate written texts, audio recordings, and video contents from one language to another with a focus on contextual accuracy.
• Ensure all transcripts and translations are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Listen to recordings attentively and capture spoken words verbatim, ensuring the retention of tone, context, and meaning.
• Use advanced transcription software and tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to clarify project requirements and provide updates on progress.
• Proofread and edit your work post-transcription and translation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Adapt to various industries and subjects, including legal, medical, technical, and general topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and at least one additional language (please specify languages during application).
• Proven experience in transcription and translation, with a minimum of 1-2 years preferred.
• Excellent listening and typing skills, with a required typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to detect and correct errors promptly.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and transcription/translation software.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
